- Monthly EH&S tip posters
- Starting each meeting with a safety message
- The vast majority of our powered mobile equipment is electric
- Recycling solid waste such as paper, cardboard and wooden pallets
- Installing bailers in high volume locations to facilitate and improve cardboard recycling
- Installing energy efficient lighting during retrofit upgrades and new construction
- Installing air curtains to reduce heating and cooling losses thus saving energy
- Conducting environmental evaluations of prospective properties and existing properties
- Installation of programmable thermostats in our new branches
- Installation of fans and passive roof turbines to reduce energy and costs of heating and cooling our Distribution Centres
- Energy audits of major facilities to highlight future initiatives
